Corrosion is a completely natural process and is the result of a physicochemical reaction between the metal and its surrounding environment. This process is naturally electrochemical , which causes changes in the properties of metals. In fact, during the corrosion process, the purified metal changes to its chemically stable form, i.e., oxide, hydroxide, or sulfide. Due to the problems caused by corrosion, several methods are used to prevent the corrosion of metals. Due to its ease and high efficiency, the use of chemical corrosion inhibitors has gained special importance. Based on their chemical nature, inhibitors are divided into several groups, one group of which can be organic, or inorganic compounds. Some of the most effective mineral inhibitors are: chromate, nitrate, silicate, carbonate, phosphate, and among the most famous organic inhibitors are: amines, nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds, sulfur-containing compounds such as thioether, thioalkyl, thioamide, thiourea, and hydrazine. Corrosion inhibiting substances prevent the corrosion of metals by creating a film, protective coating or forming a protective layer. Also, in some cases, the reaction between the corrosive substance and the corrosion inhibiting agent leads to a complete stop of the corrosion process. The anticorrosion produced by Kimya Resin Arak Company is of the hybrid type, which has the advantage of longer shelf life and better efficiency compared to mineral anticorrosion.
