Octane boosters are added to fuel as an additive to raise the octane number. In general, the octane number represents the compressibility of gasoline. Some cars have a higher engine density. In such a situation, gasoline with higher octane should be used. Octane number is the average of two motor octane numbers (MON) and laboratory octane number (RON). Based on these two octane measurement methods, gasoline is classified into three groups: normal (87), specific (89-90) and super (91-94). Based on the request of our respected customers, 12 different formulas of octane booster can be provided by Kimya Resin Arak Company, which includes a capacity of 10,000 tons per year. It should be noted that the aforementioned formulations have been approved by the honorable standardization working group consisting of members of National Standards Organization, Oil Refining and Distribution Company , Industry and Mine and Trade, Markazi provencial Government.
